World of Warcraft’s Legion expansion is set to debut its highly anticipated Shadows of Argus patch very soon – within the next 24 hours, in fact, if you live in North America.
Over the next day, players will be introduced to the planet of Argus and a new scenario taking place after the events featured in The Tomb of Sargeras. A new raid and dungeon, new battle animations and a complete reworking of how pets are utilized will all be implemented in the game among other changes.
As far as patch notes are concerned, Blizzard has outlined in entirety what it is players should expect come release.
Notable additions aside from the aforementioned changes include the conclusion of the Legion narrative and the ability to unlock never-before-experienced quests along the way, a new 5-person dungeon among the ruins of Mac’Aree on Argus that features four bosses, the ability to strengthen and customize relics and increase their raw power (thus allowing players to choose from a set of additional powers) and new effects and audio for all three mages, all three priests, all elemental and restoration shamans and restoration druids.
After the patch goes live, Blizzard plans to allow players to begin the invasion of Argus and gain access to new world quests and emissaries on the first week, have players finish the story of Krokuun and travel to the ruined draenei city of Mac’Aree the second week and have players conclude the Shadows of Argus narrative, unlock all World Quests and venture into the new dungeon, the Seat of the Triumvirate, the third week.
Shadows of Argus is purported to be the last update to World of Warcraft’s Legion expansion, so eager fans should definitely jump aboard lest it’s too late.
