The Witcher 3 has its final expansion right around the corner with Blood and Wine on May 31. CD Projekt Red has released a trailer introducing players to the new region of Toussaint.
The new expansion Blood and Wine will see Geralt traveling to the remote region untouched by war and basked in celebration, to discover a horrifying secret about a beast terrorizing the kingdom. In the trailer we get a look at the beauty and revelry of Toussaint and its inhabitants, before things take a dark turn to show us the violence and danger facing the region and Geralt at night. Blood and Wine will add another 30+ hour adventure onto The Witcher 3 with a new storyline, region, quests, monsters, equipment and more. The expansion launches on May 31 for $19.99 on PS4, Xbox One and PC. A recent developer diary gave us even more information on the region of Toussaint, and Blood and Wine will also be featuring a brand new soundtrack. CD Projekt Red announced recently that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has exceeded $17 million in sales.
