This Week’s eShop Update Brings Minecraft: Story Mode and More

Nintendo’s eShop update for this week brings quite a bit of variety to choose from when it comes to gaming on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U.

A few new things head to the Wii U this week starting with Brunswick Pro Bowling, which is also available at retailers near you. The Wii U Virtual Console service gets a new game today, and that game is Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 which originally released back on the Game boy Advance back in 2003. Another Wii title is being added to the Wii U eShop today, Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros’ Treasure. New games are available for download on the Wii U eShop today as well:  SKEASY and Minecraft: Story Mode – which is the first Telltale game to make it onto the Wii U. Demos have also been added for Cube Life: Island Survival and A World of Keflings.

Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam releases tomorrow on the 3DS eShop and also at retailers. Also new for download on the 3DS eShop is Pet Inn 3D, and two new themes: SEGA SG-1000 and Animal Crossing: Winter Frolicking.

As far as eShop sales go, the Winter Warm-Up Sale is still going on. This is the second week of the sale, and you can save up to 30% on select titles for the 3DS and Wii U. The Winter Warm-Up Sale ends on Jan. 28, 8:59AM PT.

Sales on the Wii U include the following titles:

  • Super Toy Cars is now $3.99 (was $7.99) until Jan. 28.
  • The Quiet Collection is now $3.99 (was $4.99) until Feb. 1.
  • Toon Tanks is now $1.59 ( $1.99) until Feb. 4.

While sales on the 3DS include the following titles:

  • ATLUS Games Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight and Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl are both on sale until Feb. 1.
  • Luv Me Buddies Wonderland is now $12.50 (was $24.90) until Feb. 11.
