Today Naughty Dog and Sony Interactive Entertainment released a relevant update for The Last of Us Part II.
The update, numbered 1.08, will enable a toggle in the display options on PS5, letting players decide whether the game should target 30 or 60 FPS.
This is a result of the team at Naughty Dog “digging into the PS5 hardware and the possibilities it unlocks since launch last year” according to the announcement made on the PlayStation Blog.
Alongside the announcement, Sony released a trailer showing the update in action. You can check it below.
The Last of Us Part II is available on PlayStation 4 but, of course, it’s also playable on PS5 with plenty of enhancements.
If you picked up the game you can check out our guide wiki that can provide you with plenty of useful pointers to help you get the most out of the game.
