Fallout 76 is also now available to pre-load on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’re downloading the game on PC and you already have the beta installed, you won’t need to delete the beta before installing the full game.

You will, however, need enough hard drive space (about 100GB) to allow the game to update old files during the pre-loading of the final release. The end result will require about 60GB of space.

If you’re pre-loading on console, you will need to re-download the game from the store page. And, according to the official Fallout Twitter account, it’s OK to delete the BETA:

In a letter to the community regarding the launch of Fallout 76, Bethesda Game Studios has also just confirmed that they have indeed been listening to the feedback regarding the BETA. New features including additional Vaults and faction-based PvP have been announced as being in the works for the near future.
