Today NIS America released a brand new trailer of The Alliance Alive HD Remastered, also announcing the western release dates.
We learn that the game will be released in the west on October 8 for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, while Europe will get it on October 11. The release date for PC will be announced at a later time. This is respectively two days earlier and one day later compared to the Japanese release date announced a few days ago.
If you’re unfamiliar with The Alliance Alive, it’s one of the most recent JRPGs developed by Cattle Call, known for Dragon Quest IV, Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, Arc the Lad: End of Darkness, Metal Max 3, 4, 2 ReLOADED, and Xeno and The Legend of Legacy. The scenario is written by Yoshitaka Murayama, who many will know for being the creator of the Suikoden series.
You can read an official description below.
About the Story:
“An age of darkness has befallen the world. The Dark Current, a cataclysmic event caused by the Daemons’ emergence, has decimated the population and divided the land into separate regions, leaving the survivors to be subjugated by Daemonic Overlords. To reclaim their home and free their people, an unlikely fellowship of heroes will band together to spark a fiery revolution. Explore various realms, gain new skills in the heat of battle, and form alliances to stand against the Daemons.”
Key Feature:
- A Vivid World – Explore numerous themed realms using ships, animal mounts, and flying machines.
- Forged in Battle – Ignite your determination to execute critical attacks and “awaken” new skills for your characters mid-battle.
- Stand Together – Form alliances with various Guilds to bolster your strength, while gaining access to new vehicles, areas, magic, and more.
Since the game is a remaster of a Nintendo 3DS title, it has been repurposed to be comfortably played on one screen, and the trailer released today shows exactly that, comparing the remastered visuals with the original.
