Just like it was previously teased, Bossa Studios has officially announced Surgeon Simulator CPR for Nintendo Switch, which is poised to launch this fall. The CPR stands for “Co-op Play Ready,” meaning you’ll get to operate with friends, and that’s awesome news. The Switch version will utilize the Joy-Con controllers to let players use either motion controls or traditional controls with HD Rumble bringing it all to life.
Players take on the role of wannabe surgeon Nigel Burke as they perform dangerous transplants, emergency procedures while in the ambulance, and a ton of other kooky medical tasks that certainly wouldn’t fly in a real hospital with items like buzzsaws, hatchets, lasers, and much more. Of course, this time around the Switch version will let players work with a second “surgeon” to help out, with drop-in and drop-out co-op play, just in case you’re not doing so hot on an operation and you need some assistance.
This version of the game will include the same eye and teeth transplants from the A&E Edition as well as the Alien Autopsy mode for added hilarity, as well. So if you’ve never played the game and want to get in on some truly fun times in surgery with a friend, be sure to check it out when it debuts this fall. Unfortunately, there’s no concrete release date just yet.
