Today Capcom showcased new gameplay of the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition featuring the upcoming character Gill.
The gameplay was broadcasted during the latest episode of the Capcom TV livestream, and we get to see Gill in action against M. Bison.
You’ll likely notice that M. Bison is called “Vega” in the video, and that’s because it’s the Japanese version of the game, which has the named M. Bison, Vega, and Balrog swapped.
Gill was the main antagonist in Street Fighter III, and he’s returning in December 2019 to kick off the new season started with the Champion Edition.
Incidentally, the video also shows the new stage “Sun Chase Moon” that will also be available in December to those who buy the Champion Edition (or purchasable separately if you prefer to go that route).
You can check out the video below and see if it convinces you to give Gill a try when he releases next month.
The Street Fighter V: Champion Edition will fully release on February 14, 2020 for PS4 and PC, with an upgrade pack already available for those who can’t wait.
