Today Electronic Arts officially revealed Star Wars: Squadrons following a series of teases ove rthe weekend.
The game is in development at Motive STudios and it’s coming for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and it’ll release on October 2. The PC version will be available on Origin, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. It’ll be priced at $39.99.
Cross-play will be supported among all platforms and PC and PS4 gamers will also be able to enjoy the game with a virtual reality headset.
Despite the date close to the onset of the next-generation platforms, PS5 or Xbox Series X versions have not been mentioned.
The game is set after Return of the Jedi. It will have a campaign and 5 vs 5 multiplayer.
Gameplay will be showcased at EA Play later this week.
