In an excellent Saturday Night Live Star Wars sketch spoofing Undercover Boss, Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren becomes ‘Matt’, a radar technician, in an attempt to see how the staff onboard Starkiller Base enjoy their work.
The sketch sees Matt attempt to make friends with stormtroopers, apologize on behalf on Kylo Ren for the deaths of young stormtroopers, and display his obsession with Darth Vader. During his time undercover he is bullied by other stormtroopers, shouted at for being a useless radar technician, and prompted to show his signature temper. His time undercover doesn’t go well as he is quickly found out by the staff of Starkiller Base.
Adam Driver is once again excellent as Kylo Ren as he manages to maintain the menace of the character, even in a comedic setting. You can check out the full video below.
