The mission will prompt players to board a massive Origin 890 Jump and clear out pirates that have invaded it, while trying to stop an hongoing hack.

It’s designed for groups of multiple players, and of course it’s still work-in-progress. I’m quite sure the pirates need some AI help, because at the moment they look like they have the marksmanship of Stormtroopers in Star Wars. That being said, we have approximately couple of months to go before 3.8.

The video also places the spotlight on the sound design team, which is quite interesting.

In other Star Citizen news, the game has recently passed another crowdfunding milestone. The total is now abundantly above 240 million dollars ($240,589,113 at the moment of this writing).

The numbers of accounts created for the game is now at 2,417,800.
