Cloud Imperium Games released a couple of brand new videos related to the upcoming space simulator game Star Citizen.
Both videos mostly focus on the upcoming alpha 3.8, which should be released close to the end of this month.
The first video showcases the upcoming Argo Mole multi-crew mining ship on top of the changes to mining in general.
We also get a rather rich overview of what the development team achieved for the game in 2019.
The second video features the developers including director Chris Roberts as they talk about the features coming in alpha 3.8 in general.
This includes Planet Tech v4 and the first iteration of Object Container Streaming which is the key to expanding the game’s universe both in size and in depth.
Star Citizen is a crowdfunded game and the crowdfunding total at the moment of this writing is at $256,709,022.
The number of registered accounts is now at 2,467,292. As usual, you should keep in mind that not all of them are paying players. The number includes accounts created for Free Fly events like the one that recently ended.
