Developer Proletariat, Inc.’s battle royale game Spellbreak is off to a flying start, hitting 2 million players total since launching in full last week.
Spellbreak had already been through several beta tests across PC and consoles beforehand, but as you’d expect, the release of its full version has seen interest spike in a big way.
Today’s news comes by way of a Tweet from the developer that included a couple of other stats including the total number of players, as you can see below.
WOW. It’s only been 5 days since launch and #Spellbreak already has:

If you haven’t heard of Spellbreak, it’s a free-to-play battle royale game that features an art style reminiscent of Breath of the Wild. Its big point of difference, though, is that combat is all about wielding powerful magical spells as opposed to guns.
Originally a PC-only title during its early alpha and beta testing, it was announced Spellbreak was coming to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch back in 2019. Now available on all systems, it supports full cross-platform play.
