The follow up to 2013’s Stick of Truth, South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been delayed once again. Obsidian’s RPG based on the popular animated series will now be coming out sometime during Ubisoft’s next fiscal year, which starts in April 2017 and goes to March 2018.
The Fractured But Whole was originally planned on being released in Dec. 2016 but was then delayed to the first quarter of 2017. If worst comes to worst, we might end up having to wait almost a year to play superhero with Cartman and the gang.
South Park: The Stick of Truth came out in 2013 with nothing but positive reception. Ubisoft’s video game iteration of the long-running cartoon wasn’t the first to be done, but it turned out to be a success.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
What do you think about this second delay? Do you think this means trouble for the title or will this delay make the game deliver on all fronts?
