Soulcalibur VI Public Network Test Starts this Week

Soul Calibur VI will have a public network test Sept. 28 - 30, allowing players hands-on time with the game before it releases in October.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on the new Soulcalibur VI, you are in luck. Starting Sept. 28 at 8 a.m. PST and ending Sept. 30 at 8 p.m. PST, Bandai Namco is holding a network test on PS4 and Xbox One that is open to the public.

This test will have 15 playable characters, nine stages and will allow players to play the online versus mode. The network test will be available for download on Sept. 27 at 8 a.m. PST.

Soulcalibur VI is the first mainline entry for the series since Soulcalibur V in 2012, and will release on PS4, Xbox One and PC on Oct. 19. Since being announced at E3 in July, there have been 22 characters revealed, including guest character Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher series.
