Skyrim’s Switch edition got a brand new trailer at Bethesda’s E3 conference, and we finally got a closer look at some of the new features available in the game as well as a glimpse of its amiibo support. You can check out the new trailer down below.
Aside from the rest of your (likely massive) amiibo collection, you can use a Link amiibo to play through the entire game as Link and use the Master Sword. There’s also a bevy of other additional items available in-game from Nintendo properties, though there wasn’t any further information shared to that end during the presentation. The game also supports Joy-Con motion controls where you can tilt the Joy-Cons in specific directions to block enemy attacks with a shield or swing your sword.
There’s still no release date for Skyrim on Switch just yet, but we’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way.
