During a panel at Quakecon, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition.
It will release on November 11 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Skyrim, for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PS4.
It includes Skyrim Special Edition plus ten years’ worth of content, including “tons of creations and items.”
If you already have the Skyrim Special Edition you will be able to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition.
At the same time, Skyrim will get a free next-gen upgrade that doesn’t actually require the Anniversary Edition, and as a final bonus, a fishing mechanic will be added.
I guess that was inevitable. Fishing quests will be included and the feature will be free for everyone who has the game. You don’t need to purchase the Anniversary Edition for this either.
