New Shadow of the Tomb Raider Trailer Shows Off Just How Dangerous Literally Everything is For Lara

We’re slowly marching toward the impending release of the new Tomb Raider title Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and the closer we get to September, the more we get to see of the game. The latest trailer revealed shows off some new footage of some of the dangerous drops and other hazards our inimitable Lara Croft has to contend with. Whether it’s slippery footholds, bridges, or other hazardous areas, she’s got to overcome it all to conquer her enemies.

The video’s all about showing off what Tomb Raider is capable of as a whole, with the shocking and exciting elements of the game shown off in full force here. It doesn’t look like it’s going to be changing very much about the breathtaking platforming elements that were on offer the past few games and beyond that, but certainly looks like Eidos Montreal has, perhaps, made strides when it comes to perfecting the art of making sure players are just as terrified as Lara might be.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will launch on Sep. 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

If you’re afraid of heights, you may want to look away for a little of this footage. It can be a little terrifying.
