Senran Kagura Peach Ball for Nintendo Switch Won’t Be Censored; No Plans for Ports of Older Games

SENRAN KAGURA Peach Ball

Today Marvelous Entertainment and Xseed Games announced the upcoming western release of Senran Kagura Peach Ball. Of course, some among the fans of the series wondered if any censorship was involved.

While that concern is likely justified due to the content of the game, which you probably shouldn’t play at work despite the fact that the Switch’s handheld mode makes it rather convenient.

That being said, Marvelous was quick to answer to inquiries, promising that there won’t be any censorship, and the game will launch content complete akin to the Japanese release.

Incidentally, we also hear that there are no plans for Switch ports of older titles of the series.

So there you have it, straight from the lion’s mouth. If you were worried about the game losing some of its content or imagery due to western influence, you can rest easy.

Senran Kagura Peach Ball will rerelease in North America and Europe in the summer. It launched Japan back in December, and you can watch an extended gameplay video here.

If you’re interested in the franchise, you should take a look at all the info about Producer Kenichiro Takaki leaving Marvelous (but he is still working on Senran Kagura series) and joining Cygames.
