Update: Capcom has confirmed that both upcoming expansions and the Gold Edition will launch in North America and Europe in December 12 this year. A new spoiler-ish trailer also showed a few clips of End of Zoe, a DLC exploring the fate of the Baker’s daughter, and Not A Hero.
Original Story:After getting delayed from its initial Spring 2017 release date, the free Resident Evil 7 Not A Hero DLC will launch in Japan on December 14, 2017 alongside a Zoe Baker-centric paid expansion, Famitsu announced (via Ryokutya). No release date for the West was announced, though considering past Resident Evil 7’s DLC had a simultaneous release date, we can expect the same for the upcoming expansions.
First teased in Resident Evil 7’s post-game credits, Not A Hero stars the boulder punching Chris Redfield. Meanwhile, details are scare regarding End of Zoe. The End of Zoe expansion is priced at 1,500 yen and is likely included in the game’s season pass. Listed on Resident Evil 7’s season pass Steam page is an untitled “Additional Story Episode,” presumably the End of Zoe expansion.
If you haven’t bought Resident Evil 7 yet, a Gold Edition carrying all existing DLCs and the upcoming End of Zoe will launch soon for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Resident Evil 7: Gold Edition will launch in Japan in December 24 for 4,990 yen. We’ll update you once Capcom announces details for the West.
