Get ready to free up some hard drive space because Red Dead Redemption 2 will require a minimum storage space of 105 GB to download according to the back of the PS4 Pro bundle box.
This means that Red Dead Redemption 2 is a very large game. For comparison, the PlayStation store currently lists Grand Theft Auto V at 44.86 GB, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition at 42.23 GB, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition at 48.16 GB and Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition at 66.39 GB. We hope you’ll have a snack or two ready while you watch that download.
In addition to the file size, the box also advertises exclusive content for those playing on PlayStation. According to the box, PS4 players will receive 30-day exclusive online content. However, it is not yet known what this content will entail.
With a game this large there is an endless stream of details to analyze. Check out our coverage of the recently announced PS4 bundles, details on how horses will work, a look at the frontier towns in the game, and an overview of hunting, fishing and wildlife.
