If you’ve yet to pull the trigger on a PlayStation Plus subscription, Sony is offering a limited-time deal that might be the convincing factor you need to make the plunge. Through March 3, new PlayStation Plus subscribers who purchase a 12-month subscription will receive Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege for free.

PS4 players are required to have a PlayStation Plus subscription to play online games, with a few notable exceptions that include Fortnite and Apex Legends. This means that PlayStation Plus is a requirement to play Rainbow Six Siege.

In addition to online play, PlayStation Plus offers its users monthly free games, discounts on select titles and access to online cloud storage for saves.

Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical first-person shooter that features a selection of competitive and co-op modes with a heavy emphasis on teamwork, quick reflexes and using gadgets and weapons in strategic ways.

After a somewhat rocky start, Rainbow Six Siege grew to become an immensely popular online shooter, amassing a large following, a substantial esport presence and even had a documentary made about it.

Unfortunately for existing PlayStation Plus subscribers, this deal is only valid for new customers. A 12-month subscription for PlayStation Plus costs $59.99. Memberships are also available in one-month and three-month packages but these will not grant you access to Rainbow Six Siege.
