Following the announcement made last week, today Sega offered more details about the PS4 demo of Shin Sakura Taisen, code named in the west Project Sakura Wars.
We learn that the demo, which will be released for free on the Japanese PlayStation Store on November 21, will focus on both the adventure and the battle portions of the game.
In the adventure part, you’ll be able to explore the Imperial Theater and enjoy communication with the staff and with the heroines of the new Floral Revue, including the renewed LIPS conversation system.
In the battle part you can control both the hero Seijuro Kamiyama and one of the heroines, Azami Mochizuki.
From how Sega describes it, this seems a possibly refined version of the demo playable at Tokyo Game Show. I tried it, and it was a lot of fun, so you’re in for a treat.
We also get the first screenshots of the demo, which you can see below.
Of course, the demo will be only in Japanese, and you’ll need a Japanese PSN account to download and install it. That being said, Sega has always been good at distributing its demos for the western market, so we might get an English version at some point.
