Hold onto your hats folks – a load of Battlefield information appears to have dropped just before the game’s official reveal in a few hours.
Industry insider Shinobi602 posted an image from the Xbox dashboard showing a soldier wearing what appears to be a cloak with a zeppelin crashing to the ground in the background. Shinobi is a reputable source, having been right about a number of leaks in the past.
To corroborate the leak, an image found on reddit has surfaced from a retailer showcasing the same image but accompanied by the title ‘Battlefield 1’.
It appears to confirm the long-standing speculation that the game will be set in World War 1, or possibly even an alternate-history version of the conflict.
