Starting today, PlayStation Now is officially available on PC along with a library consisting of more than 300 PS3 titles. Before you get too excited, though, it’s worth mentioning that as of right now the game-streaming service is only available in the UK, the Netherlands, and Belgium, with more countries scheduled to be added to that list further down the line.
PlayStation Now allows PC gamers to finally play a wide variety of classic PS3 titles on their machines for £12.99 a month or their regional equivalent. The price is admittedly a bit steep when compared to similar services like EA’s Origin Access, however, Sony is offering more games, a free trial, and gives existing PS Now subscribers the possibility of using the service for free on the PC.
One downside of this service is that PC gamers will only be able to play the available titles with a compatible controller like the DualShock 4 instead of a mouse and keyboard. On the bright side, the recommended system requirements for the service are pretty low and include specs like a 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 CPU or the AMD equivalent, 2 GB of RAM, and an internet connection that can handle at least 5Mbps.
