Sony’s E3 press conference this year wasn’t their best; when compared to the explosive announcements and reveals from last year and 2015, this year was pretty lacklustre. This makes the news that PlayStation Experience is to return this December that much sweeter, though; PlayStation Experience is another event on-par with the E3 press conference, with game reveals, new trailers, and gameplay in droves. The announcement was made via a tweet from PlayStation, confirming the date and location, but little else, but it certainly serves to begin fuelling the hype train.
PlayStation Experience is coming back to the Anaheim Convention Center on December 9th and 10th 2017. Many more details to come.

This is PSX’s second year returning to the Anaheim Convention Center; it seems to have served them well enough last year. They also held a Call of Duty Invitational tournament in the arena, so it wouldn’t be surprising if that returned, too. We still know very little in terms of details about what we’re going to see at PSX, so it’s all speculation at this point. Expect more news in the coming months.
Off the back of yesterday’s press conference, there is much in the way of speculation on what we will be likely to see at PSX this December. It’s extremely likely that we’ll see more Spider-man and God of War gameplay, as well as a little more Monster Hunter: World which was announced yesterday (and we’re really excited for). It also wouldn’t be all that surprising if we saw some Detroit: Become Human, depending on when it’s set to release. Finally, it’d also be great if some of The Last of Us II and Death Stranding showed up, since they both skipped E3 this year. A little more of the Final Fantasy VII and Shadow of the Colossus remakes would also cause little complaints.
