Officially announced earlier this month on November 3, Paragon is a new PC game currently being developed by Epic Games, the studio that brought us Unreal Tournament and the hugely popular Gears of War series. Apart from knowing the name of the game, Epic Games has been very tight-lipped when it comes to giving details about Paragon.
Visiting the game’s official website will introduce you to five main characters named Twinblast, Steel, Sparrow, Dekker, and Grux. Epic Games has started releasing short videos online which give us a good look at each character’s design. Epic will be releasing new videos of each character every week until December 3.
It seems that each hero will play differently depending on what players choose to fight for: glory, pride, fortune or infamy. For instance, playing as Twinblast for pride will increase your damage and give you a buff when wounded. Fighting for infamy will give Twinblast a critical strike and a bonus against bleeding enemies.
Three characters have had a video released so far, with Sparrow being the latest. We really can’t assume too much at this point but it certainly looks promising and interested gamers can sign up for the beta on the site.
Paragon is expected to be released sometime in 2016 for the PC. No doubt Epic Games will release more details soon. Stay with Twinfinite for all the latest!
