The event itself will award players with new player icons, new sprays, and of course, a new Mercy Skin, all featured in the video below.

By winning three matches of Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade mode during the Mercy Recall Challenge, players will first earn the Dr. Ziegler Player Icon. Once players hit six wins, they will receive the Evolution and Labcoat Sprays, and finally, after nine wins, they will be awarded the Dr. Ziegler Mercy Skin.

However, the rewards do not end there. Blizzard has also announced that players can earn additional exclusive rewards by simply watching Overwatch on Twitch. The rewards players will earn from watching Overwatch on Twitch will be handed out via tiers.

For the first two hours of watch time, players will be awarded one new spray. At four hours of watch time, they will be rewarded with two additional new sprays, and finally, at six hours, they will receive an additional three sprays, for a total of six.

Although Blizzard has announced that Overwatch 2 is on the horizon, that hasn’t stopped them from adding new events and skins to the current iteration of the game.

It is worth noting that progress and skins are likely to carry over to Overwatch 2, so your hard work towards earning these skins and icons will not go to waste once the new iteration hits.
