Overwatch, the brand new IP from developer Blizzard, has debuted at the No. 1 position in the UK sales chart for the week ending May 28, leapfrogging both Uncharted 4: A Thief’s end and DOOM in the process.
The team-based first-person shooter because the fastest selling Blizzard title on console, with 47 percent on total sales being made on the PlayStation 4, 36 percent being sold on the Xbox One, and 18 percent of copies being sold for PC.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End saw a drop of 37 percent in total sales from the previous week, which saw it fall from the top spot in the weekly sales chart to the No. 2 position. DOOM saw a slightly larger decline of 41 percent in total sales from the previous week, and it once again ended the week one place being Uncharted 4, at the No. 3 spot in the chart.
Homefront: The Revolution, which launched last week on both console and PC to mixed reviews, saw an identical decline in sales with DOOM, dropping down to the No. 4 spot in the chart also with a 41 percent decrease in sales from the previous week.
