Disgaea 1 Complete, Nippon Ichi Software

Disgaea developer Nippon Ichi Software is one of the most prolific developers in Japan, and they absolutely love to tease their fans with count-down websites.

This time around, though, it’s a count-up, as the new teaser website shows simply a growing plant, as you can see below.

While the site is rather stingy in terms of information, there are a few things we can find out.

The source code of the page explicitly mentions that this is for a new game. On top of that, the website itself is in the “consumer” area of Nippon Ichi’s domain.

This, in Japanese lingo, means that the game is for consoles.

Considering the recent trend for Nippon Ichi, the platforms are likely to be PlayStation 4 and Switch, with the possible addition of PC once the game gets announced for the west.

The website doesn’t give a precise indication on when the game will be revealed, but Thursday is a good guess since it’ll mark the release of the most popular Japanese magazines. In any case, you’ll learn all about the new game here on Twinfinite as soon as it’s revealed.

If you’re interested in more games by Nippon Ichi Software, they also just revealed another title, Morder Detective Jack the Ripper. You can learn all about it in our dedicated article.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
