Following its report on Black Friday, Adobe analysis arm Adobe Insights released a follow-up about the most popular products at online retail during Cyber Monday, and it’s good news for Switch fans.
Turns out that the best-selling gaming product was indeed the Nintendo Switch, coming back into the spotlight after being absent from the top-five on Black Friday, while it was at the top on Thanksgiving.
As a matter of fact, Nintendo’s hybrid console was the only gaming product to make the Cyber Monday top-five, as you can see in the ranking below. While it wasn’t ranked as the best-selling product overall, it still ended up in third place, which is a great result.
These insights were gathered via Adobe’s own experience cloud.
Do keep in mind that this result is limited exclusively to online retail and e-commerce, so it’s by no means a final judgement on whether the Switch will be the most successful console of the Thanksgiving holiday period. We’ll have to wait for the NPD results that will be released on December 18th to have a clearer picture of who really won the biggest shopping rush of the year, even if the Switch appears to be in a solid position for now.
Of course, as soon as the NPD releases its results, you’ll be able to read all about them here on Twinfinite.
