Nintendo Hiring Dungeon Designer for New Zelda Project – Coincidence, I Think Not

Black Sheep Games From Respected Franchises

Thanks to a pair of job listings by Nintendo, it seems that the company has begun development on a Legend of Zelda-related project. Whether or not these job postings are a new game entirely or just DLC for Breath of the Wild is yet to be seen, but we can assume that a new Zelda something is coming, and that’s all the news we really need honestly.

These job listings were discovered by Reddit user, guru-guru, who translated the two job titles which are for a 3DCG designer and a level designer. For the 3DCG designer, Nintendo seems to be looking for a person that has experience dealing with terrain and topography in video games and creating concept art. The Japanese company also states that you’ll have a better chance of landing the job if you have an interest in The Legend of Zelda (obviously).

For the level designer position, “they are looking for someone to plan game events, the field, dungeons, as well as enemies.” This all makes sense in the grand scheme of things because pretty much every single Zelda game has most, if not all, of these type of gameplay elements.

What do you guys hope to see next in the Zelda universe? Do you want a 3DS game or a new Switch game? Would you like to see a sequel to Breath of the Wild or just more DLC? Let us know in the comments below!
