First of all, we learn that the game has been delayed. It won’t release in August but it’ll come between late September and October for PC and Nintendo Switch.

We also get an introduction to Seasons that will prompt players to participate as pilots by defeating the BETA in battle and improving their TSF mecha. Each user will play on a specific server and will be able to take part in a variety of missions and select the missions leading to the outcome they think best.

You can work together with friends, but a chat mode will be difficult to implement at release. The developers will prioritize how to handle this depending on feedback after release.

We then get to take a look at the color customization of your TFS.

Next is a look at blood display and a toggle for damage numbers.

More gameplay showcases a comparison between difficulty level 1 and 30.

The next gameplay segment shows the Laser Class BETA in action.

If you’d like to see more, you can take a look at the previous gameplay.

If you’re interested in the Muv-Luv franchise in general, during recent events we saw the reveal of the official title of Muv-Luv Resonative (which is the continuation of The Day After) and the announcement of Muv-Luv ALternative: Total Eclipse.

A few months ago, we also heard the much-awaited announcement that Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (also known as Rumbling Hearts) will finally be released in English.

For additional information, you should definitely read our interview with the series’ creator Kouki Yoshimune and producer Kazutoshi Matsumura, alongside our semi-recent chat with Kitakuou about Project Immortal.
