We’re less than a week from the start of Season 5 of Modern Warfare and Warzone and Infinity Ward has released a trailer that teases what we’ll see in the update.

The main detail revealed in the trailer is the introduction of a new faction called Shadow Company.

Three Operators have been revealed so far, including Roze moving over from an existing one, and you can read all about them here.

Shadow Company is the faction introduced at the end of Modern Warfare 2‘s campaign and it is led by General Shepherd, who reveals himself to be a traitor.

The new characters and a variety of skins will be in the game from August 5, when Season 5 begins. You can see the trailer on them below.

Elsewhere, the other news from the trailer is more down to teases you might be able to spot. The Verdansk Stadium plays a prominent role in the trailer, strengthening rumors that it will be opened up as part of Warzone Season 5.

Yesterday, the official Call of Duty Twitter account tweeted: “If the Stadium had a name, what would it be? Our doors are open to ideas,” which is likely a less than subtle way of suggesting that the rumors are true.

Elsewhere in the trailer, you can see nukes opening, the classic Crash multiplayer map from above, and teams infiltrating bunkers. Maybe the nuke in Bunker 11 will finally play a part in Verdansk after it played a big part in Season 3 excitement.

Also, the trailer lingers on Train Station for a couple of seconds, maybe adding weight to the rumors that a train will be coming to Warzone in some capacity.

All we know for sure now is that Season 5 will bring new maps and modes to multiplayer and probably new contracts and items to Warzone. We’ll have more on Season 5 when it begins next week.
