Microsoft has today announced the time and date that its Gamescom live show will take place this year.
Announced via Xbox Wire, Microsoft has revealed that fans will be able to tune in on August 20 at 3 PM EST to get all of the latest news and announcements on the Xbox One and upcoming Xbox One X.
Graeme Boyd and Xbox Germany’s Maxi Graeff will be hosting the live show, making a number of announcements and talking with developers. There are no details on how long Microsoft’s Gamescom live show will be as of yet.
The inclusion of the Xbox One X in the company’s Gamescom plans makes it the first time that the supercharged system will be available on the show floor in Europe. Microsoft also revealed it’ll have 27 playable games for the Xbox One at Gamescom including Forza Motorsport 8, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, and Sea of Thieves.
Last year, Gamescom brought with it a number of fairly big announcements for Microsoft. Two FIFA 17 Xbox One S bundles were revealed, as was the fact that the soccer title would hit Xbox One first thanks to EA Access.
