Today third-party developers had plenty of reveals to make about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
First of all, Just Flight released new images of its upcoming PA28-161 Warrior II, which will add to the developer’s lineup including the excellent Arrow III and Turbo Arrow III/IV.
Next comes SkyDesigners, which announced Djibouti–Ambouli International Airport (HDAM) serving the capital of the Republic of Djibouti.
As you can see in the images, while the airport is host to pretty relevant airliner traffic, the scenery will also focus a lot on the military part of the airport, including Camp Lemonnier, home of the international Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
If you like joint-use civilian and military airports as I do, this is very promising.
Next comes Shunt Scenery that released a trailer of Sunshine Coast Airport (YBSU) in Australia. We also learn that it’ll be released in a package with Caloundra Airport (YCDR) on Friday, June 11.
Last, but certainly not least, Pacific Islands Simulation, which is quite popular for its airports for older simulators, announced its roadmap for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
First will be Reno-Tahoe International (KRNO) this summer, of which you can see a few screenshots below. Then we’ll get Cleveland-Hopkins International (KCLE), followed by Incheon International (RKSI) in Korea in the fall. Salt Lake City Intl (KSLC) is also coming but it’ll take longer as it’s being worked on in parallel with its real-world construction.
Did I say that was the last? Well, it was about new products, but there is more. Orbx revealed an update coming to its excellent Cityscape Sydney add-on.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is already available for Windows 10 and Steam and will release in summer 2021 for Xbox Series X ad Series S.
