Third-party developers have released new work-in-progress screenshots about upcoming aircraft and airport add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
We start with Just Flight, proving a new look at the Fokker F28 Fellowship focusing on Canadian liveries.
We hear that the visuals are almost done, but work on coding and systems is “yet to really get underway” so release won’t be soon.
Apologies for the temporary use of imgur galleries. Our gallery feature is temporarily broken due to a software transition and we’ll revert to that as soon as possible.
Next comes Aerosoft, which showcased new early screenshots of the modeling done for its Airbus A330.
The developer currently has three developers working on the modeling, three on the systems, one on the flight model, one technical project manager researching the systems to assist the coders, and one tester.
At the moment, they’re tackling the issue of how to animate the double-bogie landing gear.
Last, but not least, we see more of Orbx’s upcoming Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ESSA), serving the capital of Sweden, focusing on the SAS hangar and connecting buildings at ramp G.
Recently, we published our latest interview with head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann and we heard more about Microsoft’s plans for the next few months, including World Update Australia.
