With new 4K footage shown off on the Xbox One X, a stunning new gameplay trailer follows a post-apocalyptic fighter battling ghouls, wolves, and even a massive mutated bear-like creature before making a narrow escape on a passing train.

Developed by 4A Games, the Metro series includes Metro 2033 released in 2010 and Metro: Last Light in 2013, making Exodus the third entry in the series. Metro Exodus is set to release sometime in 2018 on Xbox One and PC, with no news on whether it will also be coming to PS4.

Also during the conference Microsoft revealed its latest console dubbed the Xbox One X,  leaving the previous Project Scorpio name behind. Check out the trailer for the console here.
