Mass Effect: Andromeda is one of this year’s most anticipated games and fans of the series can’t wait to get back in their gravity boots and start exploring a whole new galaxy. If you’re pumped to get back into the action then you’ll want to check out this companion app which will be released alongside the game and tie into its multiplayer.
Called Apex HQ, this app will allow players to remain connected to the action whilst they’re away from the game. The app will allow you to see your stats and progression, showing you unlocked characters, rewards, and items. The app can also be used to customize your loadout and character, which will be changed next time you start playing.
Apex HQ will also let users see how they stack up against their friends and the community as a whole via leaderboards. Microtransactions will be present with the option to buy cosmetic packs.
The Apex HQ app will be launched on Android and iOS devices on March 20, the day before Andromeda officially releases. Mass Effect: Andromeda will then be released on March 21.
