Electronic Arts announced the Madden NFL 18 results to its annual Super Bowl winner prediction between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles today.
According to the simulation done in Madden NFL 18, the Patriots will win against the Eagles with a score of 24-20. The game predicts that the Eagles will take the early lead, but Patriots will lead going into halftime. The two teams trade touchdowns back and forth until the Patriots fumble the ball in the final two minutes, but the Eagles could not score a touchdown on the final play to win the game. Check out the highlights in the video below.
EA predicted last year in Madden NFL 17 that the Patriots would beat the Atlanta Falcons 27-24, but the final score was 34-28. The company has simulated the results using the latest Madden NFL game since Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, and have been right more times than wrong with only one prediction with a perfect score.
Super Bowl 52 takes place on Sunday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m. ET at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
