The first trailer introduces protagonist Alex, while the second moves on to show off the return of the queen of the nerds from Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Steph.

You can check both out below.

“In Life is Strange: True Colors, you’ll play as Alex Chen; a 21-year-old who grew up in the Oregon foster care system. She is visiting her estranged brother, Gabe, in Haven Springs, and will spend the story deciding if this remote, Colorado town is a place that she can finally call home.”

“Now there’s a familiar face! If you’ve played Life is Strange: Before the Storm, you may recognize Steph: classmate of Chloe Price and former resident of Arcadia Bay. Her travels have brought her to Haven Springs where she’s the local “queen of the nerds”, drumming maestro and tabletop roleplaying extraordinaire.”

Life Is Strange: True Colors is coming for PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia on Sept. 10, 2021.

Below you can read an official description. You can also enjoy a trailer showcasing the cast and another providing a deeper look at Alex.

“A bold new era of the award-winning Life is Strange begins, with an all-new playable lead character and a thrilling mystery to solve!

Alex Chen has long suppressed her ‘curse’: the supernatural ability to experience, absorb and manipulate the strong emotions of others, which she sees as blazing, colored auras.

When her brother dies in a so-called accident, Alex must embrace her volatile power to find the truth – and uncover the dark secrets buried by a small town.”
