You were waiting for the release date of Shorsey the other day…and now the wait is finally over. Earlier today, an official release date of May 13, 2022, was confirmed by Crave on the platform’s official social media account.
This news comes just a week after the reveal that it’ll arrive on Hulu on May 27, 2022, which was announced via a brief snippet. You can check out the tweet for yourself, as well as a brief description for the upcoming Letterkenny spin-off, courtesy of Bell Media right down below.
Created by and starring Jared Keeso, the six-episode, half-hour hockey comedy sees the foul-mouthed, chirp-serving, mother-loving, fan favourite character, Shoresy (Keeso), join the Sudbury Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization (The NOSHO) on a quest to never lose again.
Shoresy was originally announced back in June 2021, as popularity for the side character of the same name was so great in Letterkenny that Crave decided to center an entire show around him. The six-episode series will follow the character’s journey to help a struggling Triple-A hockey team, which will surely end in plenty of fighting and chirping. Most importantly, though, we finally get to see Jared Keeso’s face as the character.
While you wait for Shoresy to skate its way to Crave and Hulu next month, be sure to check out all of the other great Letterkenny content we’ve got for you. That includes plenty of news, features, and quizzes that fans of the series will surely love.
