To really no one’s surprise, LEGO has teamed up with Warner Bros. to release a new movie, LEGO Ninjago, which will hit theaters Sept. 22. And, in real LEGO fashion, there will be a video game released sharing the same name. The LEGO Ninjago Movie Video Game (say that title five times fast) is also set to release on the same day as its cinematic counterpart and will be available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch.
But although the title is less than 10 days away from release (at the time of writing this anyway), that doesn’t mean you can’t prepare yourself mentally for the upcoming Challenge Dojos that will be presented to you for your training and gaming pleasure.
The LEGO Ninjago game will have 8 locations in it to mirror the movie experience, and in each of those locations will be one of these Challenge Dojos that will test your skills as a ninja by having your practice your abilities in wall-running and high-jumping, as well as test your might against villains and foes. You will also be able to battle alongside your friends through co-op to take on the challenges that await you.
Other than the addition of these dojos, many aspects of the trailer show that the gameplay will have a number of features familiar to past LEGO games, such as enemies dropping LEGO pieces for you to collect as well as the same cute a quirky humor that is present in all the video games and movies.
