This time, the manholes feature a variety of different Electric-type Pokemon, such as the legendary Thundurus and more. There are also a few Pokemon included that aren’t Electric-type. The Pokemon that are picked for the manhole designs represent the charm of the region in which they are located.

Here are all of the Pokemon you’ll see in this latest batch of manholes:

  • Electabuzz and Skwovet
  • Electrike and two Crustle
  • Thundurus

You can see illustrations of what each of these new Poke-Lid manholes looks like below.

As usual, the manholes being installed will also serve as Pokestop locations in Pokemon GO.

The addition of these eight new Poke-Lids brings the total of Pokemon-themed manholes in Japan to 224 spread across 23 prefectures in the country. These unique manholes promote tourism in these locations as the designs are beautiful and recognizable to Pokemon fans.

For anyone who hasn’t seen any previous Poke-Lid designs, you can view some of the others from last year, such as designs featuring Vulpix and friendsdesigns featuring flying-type Pokemondesigns featuring steel- and electric-type Pokemon, and designs featuring water-type Pokemon.
