Today Square Enix released a brand new trailer of Kingdom Hearts III. As a matter of fact, it’s the “Final” one according to the publisher.
The trailer was originally supposed to come tomorrow, but the stars aligned and Square Enix decided to push it forward by one day.
Of course, it looks gorgeous, as you would expect from Kingdom Hearts III. It includes plenty of gameplay and cutscenes, and the theme song “Face my Fears” by Hikaru Utada.
You can check out the trailer at the bottom of the post, in both English and Japanese versions, because there is no such a thing as too much Kingdom Hearts. The English trailer is titled “Final Battle” while the Japanese one is simply named “Final.”
I don’t know about you, but the idea that we’re watching the “final” trailer of this game after such a long wait almost seems surreal, in a very happy way.
Incidentally, in case you missed the news, copies of the game have been leaked, so you may want to be wary of spoilers floating on the internet. That being said, Director Tetsuya Nomura himself revealed that the epilogue will be released separately, so at least that can’t be spoiled.
If you want to see more, you can enjoy another video from yesterday, the latest screenshots and the opening cutscene featuring Hikaru Utada’s song “Face my Fears.”
Kingdom Hearts III will finally be released on PS4 and Xbox first in Japan on Jan. 25. Western gamers in North America and Europe won’t have much longer to wait in order to play the game, as it will launch on this side of the world on Jan. 29.
