Pokemon GO saw a Holiday-themed event launch last month on Dec. 22, which allowed players to take part in various festive activities. Along with increasing the spawn rates for certain rare Pokemon, it also provided an opportunity to catch a rare festive Pikachu (that can evolve into Santa hat Raichu). But it’s all coming to end very soon.
As GameSpot reports, the festive event is set to end tomorrow, Jan. 4, so you’ve only got a few hours left to take part in the fun and catch yourself some rare Pokemon. Along with a festive Pikachu, there’s also a Santa hat Pichu to watch out for. The event also introduces twenty additional ice and water Pokemon featured in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, including the likes of Relicanth, Milotic, Sharpedo, and Wailord.
For players plush with Poke Coins, there are special boxes available for purchase from the Pokemon GO in-game store that grant them Super Incubators, Lure Modules, and new Star Pieces. Notably, while the festive event proper ends tomorrow, players will have the chance to capture the current legendary Pokemon Groudon until Jan. 15.
