Halo 5: Guardians turned one year old on Oct. 27, and 343 Industries is celebrating it with a blog post that takes a look back at how far the game has come, while also teasing where they plan on taking the game next.
Specific content that will arrive on Halo 5 in the future includes more maps for Warzone Firefight, new Forge canvasses, “an improved spectator experience”, as well as improvements to the game’s servers and matchmaking. One particularly key change is the ability to browse and join live custom games, which will be rolled out on both Xbox One and Windows 10 versions of the game.
Looking back on what the game has achieved so far, 343 Industries lists 15 multiplayer maps, 6 game modes and “many hundreds” of REQ iems, along with features like Forge mode, which even made its way to PC.
Halo 5: Guardians is available on Xbox One. Halo 5: Forge, which is a map creation tool for the game, was also released on PC for Windows 10 systems.
