Rockstar’s Twitter lit up earlier this morning with a quick 10 second teaser announcing that the long-awaited casinos were finally on their way to the company’s massive online sandbox. The video came with a tweet that reads, “Opening soon: a luxury casino in the heart of Vinewood.”

Check it out for yourself below:

From the outside looking in, casinos seem like just another facet of the always-growing GTA Online. In fact, it’d be easy to assume casinos are already in a game with strip clubs, banks, apartments and every other facet of modern life, but alas, a legal place to gamble was nowhere to be found.

That all changes soon as GTA Online players are not only about to get a casino, but a luxury one at that. We’re not quite sure what that means, but anyone that knows GTA Online knows that Rockstar understands design so we expect a sprawling and magnificent casino to arrive in the world imminently.

A quick glance at the official GTA subreddit will show you that fans have been requesting casinos in the game as far back as last year when the nightclub update was released. Eagle-eyed fans spotted the beginning construction of what many speculate will be the home of the luxury casino in the heart of Vinewood.

Only time will tell if they’re right, though. Rockstar didn’t put a release date or a release window with this tweet — only the words “coming soon,” so your guess is as good as ours as to when we can lose every dime to our name at the casino.
