Granblue Fantasy Versus has been out in the wild for a couple of months, and Cygames provides an update about sales in Japan.
According to the developer’s official Twitter account, the game has now passed 200,000 physical shipments and downloads in Japan.
Of course, while this number is rather impressive on its own considering that we’re talking about the debut of the IP on consoles, we also have to keep in mind that the game likely sold a whole lot more given the recent launches in North America and Europe.
Granblue Fantasy Versus is currently available for PS4 and PC. If you want to read more about the game (and the upcoming action JRPG Granblue Fantasy Relink) you can also read our recent review with director Tetsuya Fukuhara alongside our review
Speaking of the game’s DLC, you can enjoy a trailer focusing on Beelzebub and Narmaya , another showing off Zooey, and the latest, starring Soriz.
Incidentally, the original Granblue Fantasy is available for iOS, Android, and PC via browsers. If you want to give it a try to learn more about the setting, you can read my detailed guide on how to create an account, install the game, and play in English.
