The message is delivered by producer Cory Barlog, who directed the previous chapter of the series and God of War II.

He mentions that the game isn’t ready to be shown, but he encourages fans to hold tight because something cool is coming. He also explains that the developers don’t want to hold anything back, so as soon as God of War Ragnarok is ready to be shown, they will reveal more.

Barlog also thanks the fan for the continued support that allows the development team to keep doing what they do.

You can watch the full message below.

God of War Ragnarok was announced in September 2020, initially with a 2021 release window. It was then delayed to 2022. At the moment we know that it’s coming for both PS4 and PS5, but we don’t know precisely when.

In the meanwhile, the franchise has debuted on PC with the release of the latest game a few months ago. If you’d like to know whether it’s good, you can check out our review.

Of course, we’ll let you know as soon as Sony reveals anything new about the game.
